Our Story
Much has been written about the past; how the company was founded and so on, what about the current crew who continue the Aldous and Norfolk County Luxury Ice Cream traditions?
This is “Our Story” and we are proud to present it to you.
We are not faceless people, we are real people who care passionately about what we do. We are proud to have won over 40 Great Taste Awards, and over 120 National Awards for our ice creams over our 103 years history - 1921 to 2024.
The Team
Damian - General Manager. Started with Lakenham Creamery in August 1993.
Favourite Ice Cream: Norfolk County New York Coffee
Interests: Watching my two sons play football, and riding my classic Vespa Scooter.
Michael - Production Supervisor. Started with Lakenham Creamery in March 1998.
Favourite Ice Cream: Aldous Vanilla
Interests: Camping with great friends in my VW Motorhome, going on holidays with my wife, and skiing.
Dave - Production Assistant. Started with Lakenham Creamery in August 2016.
Favourite Ice Cream: Norfolk County Mint Choc Chip
Interests: Riding my Classic Kawasaki Motorcycles and exploring Norfolk
Amber - Sales and Social Media Manager. Started with Lakenham Creamery in May 2018.
Favourite Ice Cream: Norfolk County Rich Butterscotch
Interests: Going to the pub for good food and drinks, retail therapy, holidays and all things dogs!
Kevin - Delivery Driver. Started with Lakenham Creamery in February 2024.
