Our NEW Unique Metal Art Ice Cream Cone for Stall 8, Norwich Market

Chris Coughlan,

Owner of Lakenham Creamery, was joined by Shaun Bridge of BLUEWELD Metal Art in unveiling their unique metal art ice cream cone. “Our idea was to have a unique metal art cone which would reflect the artisan nature of our Norfolk County Ice Creams” Chris explained. “I had spotted some of Shaun’s metal art during my travels in East Anglia and got in touch” Shaun takes over the story “I got this phone call out of the blue and when Chris explained what he wanted I saw it as a challenge and said yes!”

Shaun researched online to see if anyone else had produced a metal art ice cream cone but could not find any image on the internet. So Shaun and Chris put their heads together and decided on something simple and elegant to reflect the nature of Lakenham Creamery’s ice creams. The result is a piece of modern metal sculpture which now graces Gentleman’s Walk promoting Stall 8 on Norwich Market where Lakenham Creamery has been selling it’s Aldous and Norfolk County ice creams since the 1930’s. One of the oldest stall holders on the Award Winning Norwich Market.
